To support the launch of a new application, the client, an international software development company, commissioned the design and production of a promotional brochure.
Targeted at Human Resource Departments within SMEs and corporations, this powerful scalable solution is web based to enable integrated management and provide an interface to cover the entire HR function from hiring, on-going care and interaction through to exit administration.
At the vanguard of the client’s sales and marketing strategy, the brochure should reflect the innovative nature of the product and extol its strengths in a consultative manner.
Based on the corporate branding that we had previously designed for the client, the brochure was packed with screen shots depicting the product’s key features, along with brief explanations and technical details. Client testimonials were extensively referenced and, in-keeping with the high-end values of the product, presented blind-embossed to add an unanticipated tactility to the reader’s experience.
The overall layout was clean and spacious to convey a sense of modernity and this was supported by the use of abstract illustrations and contemporary, soft-focus imagery to enhance the desired look and feel. In contrast to these themes, the internal pages were presented French-folded. This traditional method of book binding is rarely used and provides a further, original dimension to this well specified brochure setting it above the conventional pieces of B2B marketing collateral.
